Rocky!


Coach gave me an assignment to watch all the Rocky movies.  I have made it through the first two and will get through the rest over the next couple weeks! : )  Play this theme song while you are reading the rest of the blog- it will pump you up! This is going to be my go-to song in my head during the IM! 



I just finished up two big weeks of training.  Last week I had over 17 hours of workouts and the week prior I did over 20 hours of workouts.  Workouts included 102 and 75 mile bike rides along with some long swims – 5000 meters was my longest – that’s 3.1 miles of swimming in one workout people!  PHEW!  I also had a long run of 16 miles – which I did using a run/walk combo.

This week I am tapering off on the biking but, still have some long swims and another long run.  I am doing 18 miles tomorrow and that will be my longest run before Louisville.

I’m so excited I can hardly wait!!!
